Frank Morelli, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in Jacksonville, Florida. His practice is unique. Ninety-percent of his practice is devoted to the treatment of OCD. Frank accepts clients of all ages including children, adolescents and adults.
Frank received his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 1988 and his Florida license in 1992. Frank’s 30 years of service to the public includes program development, inpatient and outpatient settings, public and private practice, and community mental health.
Frank’s interest with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy began in the mid-1990s. In 1998, he completed a year long Primary Practicum in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) with the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City. Dr. Ellis is widely regarded as one of the originators of cognitive behavioral therapy. He holds the distinction of being the most influential person in psychology since Sigmund Freud.
Frank is a 2009 graduate of the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) founded by the International OCD Foundation. The BTTI is provides an intensive training course in cognitive behavioral therapy for the treatment of OCD.
